Re: AW: *ORIGINAL THREAD* InfoService v1.6 - Feed reader/Twitter reader and weather

Looks like windows xp/vista/7 cut every window that is greater than the resolution. I will take a look on this problem but i think i can't do anything. Let's see ;)

Yeah, we had same problem at work few months ago.. The window was resized afterwards but it was still cut of ???

As I can see from the picture, Jean-Marc has pretty much all of the configuration window but the buttons. So, easy solution (considering this problem is very uncommon) is just to add context-key on Save button (&Save) so that he could just press Alt+S to click on save...

Why not just upload the picture file instead of a word file? :D

....because I don't know how to do it ....

Thanks very much Edsche and SilentExcept trying to help me...if you consider a normal Microsoft window, a right click on the top bar of the window allows to maximize or minimize it, like it is the case for MePo general configuration window.
It is not possible to do that with InfoService window configuration ?

It is possible, it would require many changes to current config design (will check). I have already added the ALT+key type shortcuts to configuration so you can use the bottom buttons that way:

    Alt+S = Save,
    Alt+C = Cancel,
    Alt+D = Advanced configuration,
    Alt+A = Add (Feeds),
    Alt+E = Edit (Feeds),
    Alt+R = Remove (Feeds),
    Alt+G = Get PIN (Twitter),
    Alt+U = Authorize (Twitter)

what about an update for current trunk ? :p

    :D

    Simone

Sorry about my long absence, but right now it's really hard for me to maintain the plugin, because of my job and some other things :/ But hopefully i have some time for infoservice over the winter holidays.

Nevertheless, SilentException has added some new features, fixed some bugs. I will upload an updated version this afternoon or tomorrow. It's not the current trunk, but it has also some nice additions and should be stable.

If you’re planning to submit a pull request, let’s go through the list of issues and their solutions. I or someone from the team will create a Jira ticket, and for each ticket, you’ll make the changes and submit a pull request. This will be transparent and straightforward.

Ok, thanks much. I will look into the instructions above. For the moment, I turned off the "Automatic channel logo update" in Settings (which somehow I had missed, I think because it wasn't an option previously), and the deleted everything in the Flat-default folder and populated it with my own logos. Works, so far.
