Ok, i have bin for you in few minutes

i delete all picture thumb from config / klick button
i delete all thumbs in "\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache"
i delete all thumbs in "\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\pictures"
i delete all files in "\User\Mike\AppData\Local\Temp
i delete all logs
restart with autostart mp
go to pictures -> browse the new album -> no folder thumb created -> exit mp
open config -> update database with klick button -> thumbnails will created
open mp -> go to pictures -> no folder.jpg created in the new album

Can you duplicate previewback.png to previewbackground.png (from your skin folder for ex "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\DefaultWide\Media" ?

It should recreate 'folder.jpg' from MyPictures for your picture folder.
Here it's an old regression and that need mantis for it (it's not related to Music Thumb but that need fixing)

About MusicThumbs folder, MP config match artist etc. when scanning folder, but not if we go to the list from MP GUI.
I don't know if it can be enhanced need @jameson_uk and @hwahrmann hint for it

no, i cant.. because there is no previewback.png ..?!!

There isn't one in Titan in my system. Which skin are you using, and is this a necessary file ?

i use titan. but this file is not in titan nore in the other 2 default theme folders..[DOUBLEPOST=1367054002][/DOUBLEPOST]

can you plz attach the file. i dont have this in skin/titan/media or the other theme folders..

got the file from another thread and now it works!!!

And i have look in code, in MyMusic, if we want to have folder.jpg etc. the db need to be filled if db is filled (by for example in GUI search Artist) thumb will be generated correctly

So i would say all is ok now

@skorz : Can you confirm that the issues you see is fixed for you ?
If i'm not wrong :

#1 : Music thumb was not generated -> should be fixed with the 'bin' i supply you
#2 : Picture (folder.jpg) was not generated from MyPictures -> missing 'previewbackground.jpg' from skin media folder (Mantis 4379 / 4380 thx HomeY)

I use SMP skin and that file exist, that why i didn't see issue #2 lol

exactly, both fixed with #1 and #2 !
