You should be able to use piiptv also with your Omnia.

-From streaming links you can create link files to your phone gallery/media player like channel1.ram channel2.ram etc. ans stream via those files.
-recordings & program guide can be managed with phone browser

Cant get it to work on the N900 The player for the N810 is not working. Is there a way to stream ? I know they port VLC to maemo, but it is not ready right now. Is there something i can try ? I have many apps, and a lot connect to the server. But Screen stays black

Edit : I installed VLC , that is still beta, but it works (somehow) I made myself a script, that i dont need to type that all into the terminal.
Hope there will be somebody that answers my question how to get it from piiptv to N900 in a better way than this .

Plugin version 0.6.4.03 is available after long 'radio silence'!

Main idea of this release is bring support for latest MP & VLC version, so called project wake-up release!

+ Some funtions has changed in MP 1.1.0, those are now fixed and supported
- So this means that earlier Media Portal versions are no longer supported!
+ Same applies for VLC 1.0.3 some streaming parameters changed, so this VLC version is now on supported.
+ Because of this (if you have earlier used piipTV plugin) go to advanced settings and select eatch profile and press 'Defaults' -button, then you will get latest parameter tunings in use!!
+improvements in RTSP server
+improvements in HTTP server

Next in ToDo list, support for Nokia N900

Thanks for that great plugin and for your help per email a few days ago!

starting service in tv server config with tv live enabled gives error: "graph could not be build or started"
When Live is disabled service start correctly. TV Card is a TechniSat Skystar S2 wich works fine under mediaportal 1.0.2 with SAF

any suggestions ??

Hi,
I managed to get it to work but it takes almost one minute to start playing the channel. Is this normal? It is not computer issue ( core2quad) and it is not internet connection ( 20MB/20MB). Is there anything else I can do to speed this up?

I cant get PiipTV 0.6.4.03 to work on 1.1.0 RC2. I copied the dll to the tvserver's plugin folder and restarting the service gave the error:
