Is there a way to use the post request method on "retrieve" node?

Sorry, not at the moment. It should not be too difficult to implement though, I will see what I can do in the next day or two.

Such implementation exists for XMBC scrapers. You supply a Tag attribute post="yes" and the URL is requested via POST. Many sites uses post and block GET so this feature is needed. Thanks for your time.

You don't mention the payload for the POST. Is this not something you care about for what you are trying to do?
