For powerscheduler to work, you need to have S3/4 funtionality first.
If you have that functioning ok, then powerscheduler should work from home screen, with no activity taking place.
Also recommend using svn from today, as Bavarian has fixed many issues.

Every so often, when I switch to a TV channel, my MP client stops accepting user inputs, either from the remote or keyboard/mouse...
So, you're power cycling the TV, but not putting the PC to sleep ?
In General => Startup/Resume settings, try checking "Ignore Windows resolution/size changes"
In Codecs and Render, try selecting the specific audio device rather than "Default DirectSound device"
Just ideas, no guarantee this will do anything.

Can you try excluding the recording folder of all background processes? (f.e. defender/antivirus etc, and maybe (don't know if that is even a thing) from creating thumbnails)

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help!

When I first start watching a TV program the timeshift functions works perfectly. I can shift back and forth in time and it works...
