hello

after instaling maya skin i cant open streamedmp basischrome
i have an eror "unable to find streamedMP version information

There should have a bit info that following that explaining that StreamedMP is not set as the current skin.

Check in MP configuration as to what skin you have selected and change it back to StreamedMP, the editor should then work ok.

In checking this I did noticed the editor is not that graceful about how it handles this, will chnage it so that the porblem is more clear and offer the choice of switch to StreamedMP as the chosen skin.

maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck? I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)
