I had already made a post with the same problem before (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...skip-jumps-when-watching-tv-51588/#post357772). The thread somehow got lost because of a discussion about another topic in it. Since then I have moved to version 1.0.2 and the problem still persists. The installation is very clean with MS SQL server, no installed codecs except PowerDVD 7. I am using MS SQL server. Because I am using MP in our living room as the regular TV I do not dare to use V1.1 at the moment. My question is: has this issue been addressed meanwhile, are there other people having the same problem, any if yes then are you using singleseat or multiseat? Is there a workaround? Any help would be appreciated :D

I am using 1.10 beta with a recent SVN and is still seeing this issue with all codes. Skipping seems random. Usually it will work the second time, but then forwarding a little will jump to the end instead of just the specified skip amount.

I think this is somewhat confirmed, but for people posting please:
    - post your setup - esp. MP version - in detail.
    - post behaviour in detail. (Does it jump to [END] no matter, or does it jump/say otherwise)
    - any other infor that might be useful
    - attach logs (ALL of 'em, please)

Also, if you can spare the time, please give other MP versions a try, esp. 1.1 alpha, as it might help to narrow down the search.

Going to make devs aware of this thread

    :D for everyone helping w/bughunting :D

In addition to what Spragleknas already mentioned:
It is very important for us that you post all logs, which means that we need the logs from server and client. Also client and server should have the same time (or almost the same time).

Here are the log files from the multiseat client.

I started up a channel and watched for about 30 secs. I then skipped back 15 sec, but it played on from the end anyway. I then tried again twice where it worked fine. Finally I skipped forward 15 secs which worked fine.

It seems fairly random when it works and when it doesn't besides the fact that it never seems to work the first time.

Sometimes it also skips all the way to the end when you skip forward just a little bit.

Here is another log where I also included the server logs.

I did the exact same thing and the exact same problem was observed.

I have a TV server installation on the client also, but this is not used. It seems it gathered the logs for it anyway. They should be ignored, and the server logs in server.zip used instead.

I know now what kind of problem we have, but it will take much time to narrow it down in the TvServer.
