Hi folks,
It’s taken a long time – the team (in particular @ajs, @doskabouter, @CyberSimian, @High_Five and myself) has been working on the new version, MP 1.39 “Endurance”, for over a year.
We’ve incorporated many improvements, such as a comprehensive overhaul of the radio functions, including an additional ‘Now Playing’ screen and improved detection when playing back radio recordings.
Many additional properties for a more detailed display of the audio and video overlays have also been incorporated.
Many further improvements now ensure a more immersive MediaPortal experience, which is of course also reflected in this new version of PureVisionHD 12.6

New in version PVHD 12.6

• Replaced the standard thumbnail view with the new fanartwall in TV Recordings, MyMusic, mvCentral, and Trakt
• Added support for the new Radio properties (e.g. added new window "RadioPlayingNow" etc.)
• Expanded NowPlaying overlays with the new Radio properties and now display more information in total
• Added additional buttons and respective displays in TMDB/IMDB movie info screen for awards and mpaa ratings
• New "tab" design for OSDs (THX to @High_Five), menus, and info boxes
• New design of LED VU meters (THX to @High_Five) if SpectrumAnalyzer is not installed
• Added new SpectrumAnalyzer LED VU meters (visible and selectable when SpectrumAnalyzer is installed) (THX to @CyberSimian)
• Added three new settings in Settings->Music->Now Playing to select different displays of SpectrumAnalyzer
• New design of list backgrounds
• New design of separator lines in all list views
• New design of watched/unwatched icons in TVSeries and Trakt
• New amazing animated backgrounds as well as some new theme backgrounds on BasicHome
• Enhanced display of movie data in Cover/Coverflow views in MyVideos and MovingPictures
• Adjusted all overlays to darken the titel text area on top of the screens
• Display of different runtime info and progressbar on BasicHome/ClassicHome NowPlaying overlays, depending on what is played
• Changed colour and height of watched progressbar overlay in MyVideo list view
• Added displays for active video/TV streams and fanart for played music to non-stamdard backgrounds
• No longer needed XMLs for depricated plugins removed
• Fixed a lot of display glitches regarding all "NowPlaying" displays

Well, more than one year of enhancing PVHD, and finally encountered display glitches...
So I made a new MPEI to re-download/re-install the complete skin, or you use the attached ZIP.
Just copy (overwrite) the content of the ZIP into your PVHD folder and restart MP.
It#s not nece4ssary to clean the skin cache, but I always suggest to do so

I saw this sometimes also - seems a bug in the skin engine
But if you leave NowPlaying and enter again, it should be correct - nothing that I can do about...

This reminded me of a problem that I encountered with my "Clarity" skin. I found these notes in an xml file:

Note: we cannot use a VISIBLE tag on this control as it prevents StackLayout() removing the gaps when buttons are omitted.

This statement is based solely on observation, and so may not be a complete description of the problem, or even a correct description of the problem.

However, I notice that in DWHD you have a VISIBLE tag on the group control that uses the STACKLAYOUT function. A possible workaround might be to remove the VISIBLE tag from the group control, and instead code that VISIBLE tag on each of the other controls within the group. It makes maintenance more cumbersome, but it might avoid the problem with the bad layout of the text. (I don't have PureVisionHD installed, so I don't know whether that uses xml code similar to DWHD.)
