I'm running XP Pro, looking for a remote with a couple of programmable buttons and the ability to put the computer in sleep mode. Considering MS MCE remote and keyboard, but does it have button for putting PC into sleep mode?

Of course it does, now try getting hold of one (genuine) M$ seems to have dropped out of the marketplace with this one in Europe.

I am running a Xubuntu machine as a server with all my movies and series on it, I run a VirtualBox VM with Windows 10 installed on the virtual machine and MP1 client installed on that. MP runs fine on the VM but I no longer have a tv tuner to test if passthrough is possible. I don't think it would work anyway.

I did a check of MP 1.36 x64 on Win11 and I can confirm, that the TV server correctly detects running MediaPortal.exe process.

Thanks for explaining. I found a passing reference to this here: https://www.team-mediaportal.com/wiki/display/MediaPortal1/HID%20Profiles which I had overlooked in the past. I would find it logical for a created custom profile to be automatically activated, but until that happens, I will try to create a wiki page for the current...
