    Hi again ipguy

Yes, you can watch and record any number of channels on the same mux/transponder with a single tuner. Each additional tuner allows you to watch/record all the channels from an additional mux/transponder. Note that functionality doesn't apply to analog tuners - with them you can only watch/record a single channel per tuner.

Okay, I'll take it a little slower. First, what kind of tuner is the WinTV tuner - analog, satellite, digital terrestrial or cable? A model number (such as HVR-4400 or Nova S etc.) would be helpful.

... so could be analog or DVB-T. Do you know if the signal is digital or analog?

I'd have to take your word for it...

In any case, if the answer is "digital" then you can watch/record multiple channels with a single tuner. There is a limitation - the channels have to be on the same "frequency" (also known as a mux, multiplex or transponder). For example, you could watch/record SBS and SBS 2 with a single tuner... or 9, Gem and Go! .

If the answer is "analog" then you can't.

Thank you very much for the tip. The Germany-Full doesn't have all the channels either. But I've now found out that I can read the frequencies using DVB-Viewer, which also receives all the channels I can receive. I'll use that to create my own channel file. Let's see if that works.

I also have never used a set-top box with MP, but I think that you need to use an IR emitter (aka "IR blaster"). The IRSS software controls the emitter, and transmits IR signals under the direction of MP. The IR signal is received by the IR receiver within the set-top box, and so can be used to change channel and so on. The set-top...

First thing to say is that I use MP1, whereas I believe that you use MP2. @ge2301 has just posted that MP2 has a "folder view" in addition to the "library view", so you should be able to set up your system as I describe below, but the details will differ. In MP1, the folders that are to appear on the "Videos" panel are defined in "MP...
