Yes, just select your program in the Guide and it will take you to a screen with record or alert options.
Also in that screen will show anymore episodes or duplicates of that program in the next few day's (depends how many days info in epg), and gives you the option to select those as well.

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help!

When I first start watching a TV program the timeshift functions works perfectly. I can shift back and forth in time and it works...
I don't know how others run it or have acquired the zap2xml stuff but the instructions I gave apply to anything. It is one line in the zap2xml.pl script that you need to change.
I run on Linux so I simply run the script itself (and once you change that on the next run it will be fine.) I do not know anything about a Windows...

Thinking about this now, you probably also needed to delete the font cache files in the MP "Cache" folder. That would trigger MP to regenerate the font cache files the next time that the MP client starts. Sorry for forgetting to mention that.
