Officially the answer is NO, unless viewed via my video's, where you then get no epg details.

Personally using a singleseat setup running MP1.1.3 + ForTheRecord1.52 + comskip all worked fine.

Since changed to 1.2beta + FTR1.6, there seems to be a initialisation problem from recorded tv, it seems to not skip commercials at beiginning on its own, however once I use the first skip key on remote then there is no further interaction needed, all the following commercials are jumped over as it should be.

I'm looking for alternatives to SageTV and I'm almost ready to give give MediaPortal a test drive. Automatic commercial skipping is one of my highest priorities when evaluating other HTPC software. I was thinking of installing version 1.2 for my evaluation, but it sounds like full automatic commercial skipping is not working there yet? Does anyone know if this has been fixed since Ray posted this on June 5?

comskip is working for me from recorded tv.
just note that i am using the 4therecord tv plugin, so you probably want confirmation from someone else as well.
