Hi,

after a crash while configuring my categories, they are a mess. Is there a way I can totally reset them to initial values?

Thanks a lot

Sure can, simply remove each one and close/re-open. This will restore the defaults.

Hi Damien, thanks for your answer, I'll give it a try.
Still, I'm not 100% sure it's gonna solve my problem as I have the following behaviour after the crash I described:
-categories under MP and configuration aren't the same
-some come twice (for example, under my custom "genre menu", I know have 2 documentaries categories)
-most of them aren't at the right place (Sean Connery under genre, for example)

And sometimes some categories just won't be removed. I think that crash f..ed up stg and that's why I was thinking about a real reset. But I'll give your solution a try :)

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

If you’re planning to submit a pull request, let’s go through the list of issues and their solutions. I or someone from the team will create a Jira ticket, and for each ticket, you’ll make the changes and submit a pull request. This will be transparent and straightforward.

It seems if you uninstall just the tvserver and client it wipes all the settings and clears the database.

I note that you are using MP2. The following applies to MP1, but I think that MP2 is identical in this situation. "TV Server Config" has a "TV Mapping" panel in the "TV Channels" section. On the "TV Mapping" tab: The left column lists the channels that have not yet been mapped to the TV tuner identified by the drop-down menu just...

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...
