Hi all, I have a HD 3650 AGP and I have a problem:
I use Powerdvd codec included in SAF(with dxva) and when I watch live PAL TV, the deinterlacting modes switches from the best Settings (I control them in ATI Catalyst Control Center 9.5) to weave and back( I can see this at a Channel, where a lettering on the bottom on the screen moves), and sometimes the TV freezes for a short time.
I don't know what to do, how can I manage it to stop changing deinterlacting mode.
Sorry for my bad Englisch.
You mean you use "CLVsd.ax"? In CCC you can select software mode deinterlacing, wich have no effect if you are using DXVA (hardware deinterlacing).
Hoborg,
Not sure if you can help but might have so ideas - I've made some images of DVDs using DVD Fab 5 (so I have audio_ts & video_ts folders & appropriate contents on disk). When I play those images MP crashes after a few minutes of playback (using SAF 3.47 on MP 1.0.2) - all my ripped DVDs, TV, music, home movies appear to play fine just the images - however, those images appear to play fine on WMP.
Unfortunately I cannot think how to get any logs because the crash locks the PC up!
Any advice would be appreciated as I don't quite know if my problem is MP or SAF related.
Thanks
Hi.
If you play this DVD's directly from DVD, is it OK?
Try to disable DXVA in MP settings.
