Hi Hoborg,

I installed SAF 4.0 Beta 10 last night. *unlocked*

I got rid of all the codecs I had installed before and so far it's looking great appart from the TV in h.264 that I have to watch with Cyberlink codec (that is ok for me), mpc not providing any video (and I don't get any audio also). I will do more tests tonight (disabling dxva on mpc, etc) and if you're interested I'll post some log.

Thanks.

Oh I just saw that you now enabled ffdshow audio support. Good ! Thanks

hoborg: There is een problem with HDTV h.264 viewing. I think it's MP related problem. If i turn on tv (preview or fullscreen) tv is shown but the whole screen flickers badly and MP is sended automaticaly to taskbar if you wait a little longer. This was not the case with ALPHA but i upgraded to Windows 7 x64 and BETA at the same time. If i turn off EVR and switch to VMR9 it is ok. But i want EVR.
    Shall report it.

Old bug i think: 0001192: Flickering Tv-guide and other overlays with EVR enabled - MediaPortal Bugtracker

    EDIT:
check if PDVD9 decoder is in use, try to disable DXVA.

you can try GB-PVR to eliminate possible MP bug.

Shall check DXVA. Wanting to use GB-PVR but DVB-S(2) is so difficult to do in GB-PVR. Automatic scanning of satellite is not working.

You can record in MP then play in GB-PVR...
