The patched core did improve the scrolling in filmstripview a lot but it is not close to the smoothness of filmstrip view in tv series.
I am on AthlonXP 2200 and XP+SP3
MP 1.1 RC1 and MovPic 1.0 RC2 with StreamedMP

It sure is an older system but smoothness in MP is very good in other places.

Having the same issue. Scrolling through any kind of layout in moving pictures is extremly slow. I have around 1300 films in the db.
Pictures and thumbs already shrinked.

Just adding my thanks to armandp - I'm running MediaPortal on a rather old PC, and the patched core.dll is a massive improvement

Hello,

I might have a problem related to the new patched core.dll.
I have not yet confirmed it in detail.

When I have been watching youtube videos within Onlinevideo it sometimes crashes mediaportal.
I have now reverted back to original core.dll and so far no crashes.

Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?

I can start collecting logs if needed. I just need to be sure it's related to patched core.dll so I will run original core.dll for a while and see if it crashes.
Crashes are very random so it's hard to repeat.

Now that this is integrated in RC2 it may be obsolete, but THANK YOU.

On my Zotac Mag with MP 1.1.0 RC1 this makes a lot of difference, great work!
