And just for the fun of it, just removed the adjusted profile, and restored all default values. Started MP -> 50 FPS :censored: (but i'm sure that'll go away in a while)...
    Need some food first, bbl
LOL. Please try the attached MP and let me know if you see your 33fps again.

I reverted back to some initial changes where I removed all this FPS waiting I never trusted in the first place. Some users complained about high CPU usage so I put it back it.

If we do not wait here, frames get rendered nicely scheduled by DWM when they should. No artificial fame skipping during rendering. Yeah, may broken XP here even more. But can put in some XP specific sleep again if some XP user complains.

But not a single one jumped on my changes since January. Mostly Win 7, some Win8. No Vista. They do not care what is coming, so be it.

Edit: But beside that GPU clocks play a important role in smooth playback. I recommend not letting the GPU clock down at all. As said no issue on load or temperature. I am just talking about the clock rate, which is used for RAM access and also for HDMI audio stuff (if you do not bitstream). And when it jumps it can have bad side effects. You want it as stable as possible when using a MediaCenter application.

Attached you find my MediaPortal.xml (config settings). I upgraded this morning to ATi 13.4, but problem is still there.
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Start MP
    2. Open stats (Shift + !) and look @ FPS (top left)

    That's all....

Will get back on the .exe in a bit @Scythe42

    Same result.
    ~30-33 fps

Got an error on the skin not being present, so started (after ESC) in DW.

    [EDIT]
Even with my own xml I get the same result.

BUT BUT BUT... this is tested on my MAIN HTPC system, through Remote Desktop. ? Everyone OK with this??

Nice to see i'm not alone in this!

    [EDIT]
Even with my own xml I get the same result.
And even nicer to see it's not a config issue on my side :D

now back to testing Scythe's .exe (maybe you could try that also?) although i'm having a hard time trying to reproduce the problem at the moment... :cautious:

Test on same issue? Im a bit out of the loop lately. Could only find time to install builds and run it for the family. Who complained very little.

Will retest on same issue (bit later) live on the htpc. :) Thanks Sebastiii
