Several subtitles for a video (1 Viewer)

I dont have any codecs pack installed, like ffdshow.
I have single codecs: divx, haali media splitter, vobsub, ac3 filter and core aac directshow.

I tried enabling modfix as u suggest, and it didnt work

Any more help?

I solved it. I had to add VobSub in the list of post-processing filters.

It appears that MP somehow caches previously used subtitle files for subsequent use next time the same video is played. My problem...

OK....perhaps impatient of me I know, but went for a full reinstall....and now up and running once more. Have no idea what was at the root of this problem....still wondering if it may've been due to a Win11 update earlier this week?

MP1 MP2 Resume for External Players DE

I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)
