I did read on one of the numerous prior pages of this thread that it was being considered to be included in a future release. It is such a fantastic improvement that I agree is certainly should be. How easy it is to do, I am not too sure - I would love to understand these things, but have no idea where to start :)

I think it should upgrade the previous 1.2.1 version ok. The only time an upgrade won't work is when there have been database changes in the main trunk between versions. I'll try and confirm that in my lunch.

Hi, I'm considering moving from WebEPG to this SkyTV grabber, if nothing else because it takes 2 hours to populate the guide for all the Sky Channels now :/ and this seems pretty cool.

I have made changes to my channels, such as renaming them, I haven't combined any of my freesat / freeview channels with my Sky channels.

Is it still just a simple case of installing this plugin and away it goes? Just a bit worried about breaking the existing setup now I've finally got it happilly waking up twice a week to grab in the night. Thanks!

    Hi there,

This is not a plugin... its a full release (SVN release).

So if you are already running 1.2.2, then you simply run these installers. It will upgrade your existing version (keeping your settings and channels). The only things it will alter is if you are running powerscheduler++, or if you have replaced any DLLs with custom ones - these will need reseting after installing these upgrades.

I too have played around with my channel names and use a custom group - these are all maintained.

If you arent already running 1.2.2, then upgrade to that first, and then run these installers.

    J.
