Guys, don't bother with the files I uploaded.

I am pulling my hair out with this.

The tuner can scan all the channels. But will not tune after unless you reboot your machine.

Before you tear any more hair out, I think you may be looking for a problem that doesn't exist.

I was running your latest files, and the scan worked in about 60 seconds with all the categories and Sky channel numbers allocated. Started up MP and tuning worked just fine - and has done ever since. Didn't require any reboots. The only thing that doesn't work was the population of the EPG.

Thats the problem m8,

It locks the tuning for that transponder.

Did you get the EPG populated?

Hi there,

MySQL comes "bundled" with MePo. MSSQL needs to be installed before/separately to MePo.

Not sure why you are getting the issue - logs would help

A fresh install of 1.2.0 did the trick...........not sure why.
Currently configuring it all now.

Did you get the EPG populated?

I don't understand that? I was using 1.2.0 with your latest files and watching TV as per normal - just without an EPG.

I could switch transponders etc just fine.

Or maybe I am misunderstanding the problem?

And to answer the question, no I couldn't get an EPG - and now that I have gone back to the 1.2.0A files at the beginning of the post I still can't get an EPG, so I think a clean install will be required!

Can you upload your TV.log and TSwriter.log

And what TV Card are you using?

Ok, I have gone back to your latest files for testing purposes..

logs attached.

I am using primarily a TBS 6981 card (dual tuner) but also have a Skystar 2 HD fitted (lowest in priority list)

Have just tested again, scan works fine, tuning works fine. EPG does nothing - cards just sit there idle even when pressing the Refresh DVB EPG button under manual control.

I was getting that when using the wrong versions of tswriter.tx, tvlibrary.dll & tvlibrary.interfaces.dll.....at least in the 1.1.1 days.
However, have just done a clean install of 1.2.0 and the SKY EPG 1.2.0 Alpha installer from post #1.....all working here.
Have attached if it's any help.

Have you compiled this on a different SVN?

I have noticed that on your files, Moving Pictures, Onlinevideos and My TV Series all stop working.

If so, any chance of using the SVN that was used from the first post for the 1.2.0A files?

Yes, I had no problems with that combo. The problems only arose after the OpenTV install.. And going back to the original 1.2.0A doesn't seem to fix it.

I don't mind playing about with it to help try to get it working to be honest (although wife probably disagrees!!!)

I have had to upgrade to the new SVN due to Hard disk failure

I'll try to get it on the Old one but It will take me a while.

Have you tried the files that include the OPenTV channel scanner etc?

If not, it may be good to see if you get the same results? (just in case I have some sort of odd configuration - but I don't think I do)
