This isn't a problem with the EPG or Scanner. You need to report it in the SVN bugs section. If you run it in debug mode and upload your logs then they can help out.

I tried again, I re-installed base 1.2.0A from scratch, and loaded MAYA and it works perfectly.
I then installed your SVN's/DLL and when I restarted and hit the UP button at the main menu on my Hauppauge remote it crashes MP. However, if I hit the TVGUIDE button on my remote it doesn't crash MP, it's as if it's only the DIRECTION buttons.
Wierd that the default skin is ok though (but sucks).

Am I right in thinking you've built your code on something later than 1.2.0A and thats where the problem is? If thats the case I might be tempted to backdate the necessary DLL's etc to get this to work. To me MAYA is the only skin I'm happy with.

I might even have a bash of fixing it myself (have avoided the source till now, but I guess needs must).

What I am saying is I am not going to help in this thread as it is not a problem with the EPG or scanner, I don't want this thread to be 100 pages of stuff not related to the work done by me or Miroslav.

There have been a few changes(skin related) in the latest SVN that have caused quite a few problems. The Devs need to know then they can fix it.

If you need a working copy then do the scan with my patch export your channels and revert to 1.2.0Alpha with Miroslavs patch on the first page.

Hi,

The first time I installed this it scanned the channels perfectly first time.

Due to mucking about I needed to start again, so I ghosted back my default Win7 image and went through the exact same process (i.e. remove existing MP install completely, then install as per the install notes).......but no matter what I do I can't get any channels. I've tried various settings but nothing................

It sometimes scans for about 5 secs, other times for about 15 secs......at the end of which there's no channels listed at all.

I'm using a Hauppauge card so am observing the SIMPLEA setting etc.

Ideas?

Can anyone give me a pointer where this information is located in the freesat data? I've never analysed it so don't know exactly where to extract it from. I can get this done fairly quickly once I have this info.

Also if there are any Australia / NZ Users out there then please can you help by taking a recording of the default transponders.

The details are usually found on your Sky Box's under settings. Default Transponder.

If you are able then please record Pids 0x10 and 0x11.

I can then add the quick search for these 2 providers.

I'm in Australia and kin to help. I will need some more info thou. We do not have Sky Box'es hera and my provider box is dusting the shelf since the first day i got it. But I don't remember any "Default Transponder" in the box I received.

I do have DVBWiewer and I can use the Transedit to record the iEPG transponder if that is what you need.

The SVN I used was after the 1.1.2 release, so any fixes introduced will be in the patch files I released.

Hello, am so excited about this and dowloaded as soon as i saw it but im having problems.....

i have ran through the instructions to the letter and am now to a loss.

whats happening is i am able to do a scan of my area and recieve the 700 odd channels and grouped etc but when i go to map them to my cards they are unseen??

help????

sorted it, just steer clear from the channel map button and it works a treat....
but problem 2 is now raised, i have two cards bother running sky via a server setup with a client in the bedroom and the living room??

how can i have this work simultaneously with the two cards??

As far as mapping to other cards this is possible as I do it myself, just make sure the cards are setup with the right lnb as I forgot this to start with and didn't have the option to map any channels till this is selected.

I haven't found anyway to scan multiple tuners automatically as don't think this is a feature yet. So I just let it auto update 1 tuner and the map any changes to the other tuners manually.

i am unable to map the channels to the card as when i hit the channel mapping button there are no channels in the lists and then when i go back into the hannel list the channels corrupt and are unable to view??
