The card that you select in the drop down box in the settings is the card that it will tune to.

I have made quite a few mods and will be releasing a newer version later this evening.

I did that but if I what to record more then one channel I get no freecard error.

But the way it sorts all the channels was great and epg worked for every channel. on my system it was about 8 mins doing its thing which is not bad as it only amd 3700+ with 1 gig of ram.. it did have 2 gig but one of the sd ram stopped working so I had to remove it.

Go into the TV Channels -> TVMapping --> Select the card that the channels are not mapped to and then select them all and click the >> button.

This will map the channels to the other card. Future releases will allow you to map to all channels from the grab, you will have to manually do this until I release a new file.

You will need to do this with the Radio Channels also.

I did that and it worked but some channels are not mapped to any card at all. maybe I did some thing wrong.

This highlights something I didn't think about

I think all the testing with this has to be standard, i.e. default skins etc.

I have tried unchecking all boxes and scanning and it still brings up 900+ channels that I then have to sort through again. Also I am missing alot of EPG data which does not show up even after a fresh scan

Hi DJBlu. Just found what seems to be a small problem with this excellent plugin. If i run the scanner with no channels in the tv service its scans and updates the epg in 3 mins like you said it would.

However last night i refreshed the epg. now if i run it i get "EPG grabbed, database update complete that took 60 seconds" however no data is put into the database. Just tryed deleting all the channels and rescanned and it worked fine again. seems it will update the epg database only if there are NO channels in the channel list.

Also the normal DVB grabber in the tv service now wont update at all. I'll have another play with it later on. If you have any ideas can you let me know.

Hi DJBlu just a quick follow up to yesterday. 3 channels moved around last night so i rescanned and the plugin picked up the changes. However its not updating the channel database and the old channels also still remain. Deleteing all the channels and fresh rescanning got them!.

Also another small thing i've noticed today is the categories list in the plugin if 1=entertainment etc etc they apear in reverse in the tv service gui and MP. eg entertainment goes to the end and sky help goes the start. Not that its causeing to much trouble just though i'd let you know.

yes, i have 200 of my favourites that i import which are already in the order I want, ignore the bit about the missing epg data.

Just had a go at refreshing the epg data again. Its grabbing all the right info just cant update the info on disk i wonder if its setting the data to read only or something after the first grab?. Anyway lets see what happends when your next release becomes available.

I don't understand how it is adding channels if you have deselected the Auto Update Channels.

I'll take a look at the code and see if I have missed something.

In the mean time I suggest searching the channels then sorting them and exporting them as the plugin adds a little info to the External ID which is required for the plugin to function.
