Just had a go at refreshing the epg data again. Its grabbing all the right info just cant update the info on disk i wonder if its setting the data to read only or something after the first grab?. Anyway lets see what happends when your next release becomes available. :D

This is a problem with Media Portal not the Plugin.

Change the update frequency in the settings for EPG, it is normally set to 24 hours. Look at your EPG.log and it will show lots of Last Updated blah blah update not needed.

I don't understand how it is adding channels if you have deselected the Auto Update Channels.

I'll take a look at the code and see if I have missed something.

In the mean time I suggest searching the channels then sorting them and exporting them as the plugin adds a little info to the External ID which is required for the plugin to function.

Ok, I will delete all the channels, do a fresh grab, then sort all the channels and export and see what happens then.
Also is there a way to stop it creating all the groups when grabbing, it creates them even when the sort into groups box in un-ticked, I just want the all channels group.

Great work as usual but I am having trouble with epg data for some channels (BBC one HD BBC HD, Channel 5 among others) I also have 2 DVB-T cards too with all DVB-T channels set to grab epg data (These channels all populate guide data)

Seems to miss the channel 'GOLD' when grabbing, will it still grab the epg if I add the channel via a single transponder scan?
Also just sorted my channels like you said, will leave it alone for a while to see it it works. When does it automatically update the EPG?

I See what you mean about refreshing the epg its up to the internal grabber. Does your plugin auto update after so many hours? i'm sure i read a few posts back it was 3 hours?. i'm going to leave the epg empty overnight and see if it grabs and updates. let you know 2morrow. cheers :D

    Hi - I know you said that for testing we need to use the official skin, however a quick query for my own interest, and its not a bug or problem this time!, In CLR the EPG view shows a number on each bar, generally a similar number in each category (ie in sports it can be 243, 230, 241, 224 and in entertainment it can be 100, 107, 171, 168). I assume that these are flags to identify program type or are used to sort into each boquet - is this the case?

    Hi DJBlu,

    Firstly, thanks for all your hard work, this is an awesome improvement!

    I've just done a fresh install (Win 7), followed your instructions, and it all worked fine - I was actually very impressed with the speed!

    So, I had all my Sky channels, in their groups, and had EPG data for them all.

    Since then I've gone on to configuring the rest of my setup (getting the remote working, TV Series & Moving Pictures, etc). I've now gone back into the TV Server config and noticed that when I go into the TV server config I now can't see the configuration options for your plugin.

    In the tree on the left-hand side, it has all the usual options until "Plugins" - it then doesn't show the branch where your configuration was, and doesn't show anything underneath it. I've tried enabling and disabling your plugin (and others) and nothing else shows.

    As a test, I moved your .dll out of the plugin directory and restarted the TV Server config - and all the options are showing again, below Plugins it shows "Import/Export" and "Additional 3rd Party Checks". When I then move your .dll back and restart the TV Server config the "Import/Export" and "3rd Party Checks" are missing - and I can't access the settings for any plugin.

    It seems as if the TV Server config starts loading the plugins, hits a problem, and then quits trying to load any other options in the menu. Is this an issue with your plugin or with MePo itself? As I said, I have installed other bits of software on the system since setting up your plugin, however nothing that I think would affect TV Server - there are certainly no other TV Server plugins installed or running.

    I've attached my logs from the TV Server.
