Isn't this a real can of worms? Movies have different release dates globally. And which release date would you go by? The USA premier date? Cinema previews date? General Cinema release date? Original VHS release date (if applicable)? DVD release date? BluRay release date? Or do you mean a larger 'recently added' category that lists all your movies?

I clicked on the box highlighted in the attached screenshot and also added English GB to that and removed the existing English EN. Misspellled words (like that one) are now underlined with red wavy line.:)

Up untill recently I'm sure there was a spell checker on new posts, (misspelled words were highlighted). It does not seem to be...
maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)
maybe other programs competing for resouces?
