Actually, "My videos" could be local folders, upnp servers, lan folders, ftp servers or internet sites. Various sources, but the same content ¿isn't it?
I think the most obvious reason is that MyVideos is a "official" part of MP and maintained by the team, whilst OnlineVideos is a community plugin, now under the wings of Offbyone.
(Big , btw).
I would rather see them more separated, with Online videos using defined codecs for usage with only that plugin (as Cyberlink does not seem to work properly with online material).
Thank you so much, I have downloaded and then cut and pasted the files into their respective locations and iPlayer has its subcategories restored and a few of the broken sites that I had are now back and working. I think it proves that the core program is fine, but there is a problem with the internet connection. I have no idea what...

I removed all sign of MySQL, rebooted, did a clean reinstall. It reinstalled 5.6, But I've still got both the same problem - unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts. And Hostname is still in red. I don't understand - this is a dedicated TV computer. Unless an update did this I don't know why there's a problem in the...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal.
Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in...
