Yea i thought this was an American Football thread, and I was going to vent about last week's playoff games (ok, just one, the Colts choking at home). I'm probably one of the few Americans on the board who isn't disappointed that this thread isnt about the NFL.

I like watching EPL games, Fox Soccer Channel puts 4 or 5 games on a weekend in the US, and I'll record or watch most of them. Personally, I'm sick of seeing Man U, Chelsea and the usual suspects at the top of the table, so I casually pull for teams like Wigan and West Brom. Nothing less exciting than seeing a team 16 points up on the rest of the league halfway thru the season. Completely enjoyed the draw at home to Charlton tho...

ok, after saying all that, its time to watch the NFL...and record the Lyon/Auxerre game on FSC.

Yeah I was surprised by the Colts losing, the Steelers sure have looked good at the end of the season. Should be a good Superbowl. No wardrobe malfunctions though this year. :-(

How great was it that a 119th minute goal sends Wigan into the Carling Cup final? FSC has a 4 hours of TBA on Thursday, hoping this one makes it to American TV.

That's what actually got me into mp, i needed a way to record stuff when i was busy.

Maybe i've been working too much this week, mPod, was that an intentional play on words? At any rate it's good to talk about soccer, with all of of my non-soccer playing friends, i would get shot down if i even brought it up.

Fowler back at Liverpool! That's a turn up for the books - he never really turned out to be as good as his potential promised but it's great to have him back home! He'll be a great boost to our inconsistant strike force.

Looking forward to Portsmouth v Liverpool tonight. I might even watch the scum Man U playing Wolves. :lol: :twisted:
