Hi,
I'm trying to stream an rtmp stream with GenericSite editor and i get an error that says it doesn't recognize rtmp
could it be?

Where do you get the error? In the GenericSite editor , or in Windows Media Player (after you click "play" in GenericSite editor)?
The latter is to be expected, as Windows Media Player can't handle rtmp. But I think in MediaPortal should work.

i get the error in the generic site editor and it stops when i change rtmp to http (but than the stream doesn't work...)

At what stage do you get that error? Is it when clicking play?

Sorry, my mistake.
I added the RTMP in the wrong place.
Anyway, i still cant get it to work in graphstudio or in MP .
Can you please look at the stream i posted here and try to find out what is the problem with it?

this one rtmp://waflaWBE.walla.co.il/vod/mp4:media/008/804/880479-40 should do the trick.

Normally it's rtmp://<site>/<app>/<playpath>.
Sometimes extra verification is done by the sever, and you have to specify extra parameters like tcurl,swfurl,swfsize,swfhash, but those extras can't (yet) be done with the GenericSiteUtil.
