Hi,
long ago I found MPstandbyHandler. I think that this task perfect meet your some request. I'm using MPstandbyHandler at the server and at all my clients (where I use wakeup/standby mode only) works perfect!

The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal.
The issue stemmed from the corruption of one or both of the mc2xml.dat and/or mc2xml.exe files, for an unknown reason. Consequently, even though the tvguide.xml file appeared to be updated, its content kept being an...

There are 2 x files in the folder......one is x86, and other is x64
Wondering if I should be selecting the x64.....since I'm installing the 64bit version?
