Well I deleted the database, what more can i say

Go into the tv series config, the details tab at the top it shows the path and name of the database, navigate to that in windows explorer

Quit out of MP config altogether or else you will get an access violation then delete the database

As soon as you enter the config again it will create another database and you can run your import again, be warned this will get rid of all your settings totally.

Maybe a bit drastic but it worked for me apart from the mess on the series screen now but I think i know what that is

try using graphical series view. are you using the version of tvseries that installs with streamed mp?

I am using the tv series installed by streamedmp and now you mention it I think the problem is I have text view checked but also have download posters instead of banners checked in the Import settings. Would that cause the problem from my screenshot?

Not near my HTPC at the moment but will check later

ok. i was wondering if you did the brute force deletion of the database.
i like that approach.

this stupid ass little problem is ridiculous.
there has to be some setting that is not right and i have no idea which one it might be.

maybe i will start looking at another skin...

Well it seems like the database was corrupt I deleted it and re imported and all is good in season and episode view but get this mess in the series view

I got this error when I did not do the following.

1. Clear the cache. Once you install StreamedMP for the first time and then notice your problem, the cache is alerady there. For vista this is under ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache\StreamedMP

2. I had to delete my rules under MP-TV Series Media Portal Display. Under Logo Configuration Delete all then import the StreamedMP\skins\StreamedMP.logorules. Do the same for Output Formatting Rules, delete all then import StreamedMP\skins\StreamedMP.formatrules

This fixed my issues. I myself choose under the Season View Setting "text" because the layout looks much better with it.
