The TV service will stop working. I am using hdhomerun and windows 8.1. I can start the hdhomerun through their quickview program. This sometimes restarts the TV server under mediaportal. Please help.

This tells us the crash is in MPIPTV_RTSP.dll. I see crashes every few days, consistently related to that module.

This is a known problem. Another example of:

I tried changing the RtspTeardownRequestTimeout parameter and set the value to 1000 ms per the article. It did not seem to help. Here is a clue. I exit MP after the TV service has left. I open the TV configuration. It tells me no TV service, do I want to turn it on?. I do and and preview a channel, it starts the preview after some delay. I can then go back to MP and view TV normally. Does this give you any ideas?

Well, the log doesn't show any problems. I can see correctly tuned channels in the log. It seems to me that the tuner works fine. Can you copy the created ts file(located in your timeshift folder) somewhere else while in channel preview and try to play it in VLC or MPC-HC? PS: You can also try to make short record
