I have uploaded a new version with some improvements to the installation script along with some bug fixes. Hopefully this will solve your problems

I think it will be available on the team-mediaportal site in a couple of hours..

now i have test it.

If i call http://<<My Server IP>>:8000/list i get this message:

<result>Unable to handle request Index was outside the bounds of the array.</result>

And if I call http://localhost:8000/change?id=1229 i get this message:

<result>Unable to handle request The number of returned rows 0 did not match the expected count of 1. If concurrency control is enabled this may indicate that the record was updated or deleted by another process.</result>

I have deinstall the MySQL Server but the problems are the same.

Hi, now I have install it on a other PC.
(This PC has no MySQL Server install! only MS SQL)

At fist i have some Problems with the security Setting but now is runnig.

Hi again,

Im glad to hear that you finally got it working :=

I have release a new version this afternoon, it's a bit faster when it fetchs channels from the DB and EPG information. It also has a better session control for multiple clients. Do you have a large channel list in your DB ? .

At first the plugin was hardcoded to only work with MySQL:sorry: , but now it should be able to work with all DB's supported by the TvServer.

The EPG should be working, but the TvServer isent so stabil with the EPG information. The plugin fetchs its EPG information directly from database.

It didnt get your last question... You should be able to install my plugin on another pc than the tvserver just as long as it has access to the TvServer and TvServer database.

I have tested your plugin on windows vista. It works, but I only have audio the first time. When I start the plugin a second time, I have no audio. What is the problem?

WoW, did you get it to work under vista ?. maybe its just my one version of vista ultimate that is sick. It's great news... I will do a fresh installation of my Vista PC, and see if I can fix the problem. Didnt you receive problems when you ran the installation script ?. Vista has some pretty anonying security issues....


The next thing Im planing to with the plugin is to update the graphics, and fix the resizing problem when running on the MCE host... on the xbox360 its working fine or ar least thats my expirence. and ofcourse the epg guide is also a most.


Do you find the plugin useful ?.

Hi,
Yes,I find your plugin very useful.
One of the problem with MCE or Vista is the MS TV Engine.
Now you can use the good MP TV Engine with the MS MCE. It is fine.
But if you want control the MP TV Server with MCE or Vista, the funktions like Timeshift, EPG, Recording etc. are particular importance.
