omri_ro, this is definenatly possible.
TvXb uses .ini files and there are such files ready for many countries, including Israel. There are several .ini files for HOT & YES.

Hi,

I'm also looking for some quick guide or simple steps on how to integrate TVxb with MediaPortal 1.

Can anyone point me a link ? I've been searching high and low in google as well as forum here but no luck

For TVXb there is quite good documentation on their own website. But I'll assume you found this and want to know how to integrate tvxb in MP.

If you use TVserver like me, in your tvxb.ini you should put something like this

xmltvoutput="C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\xmltv\tvguide.xml"

Then in TVserver in the xmltv section of the plugins, refer to this same location (any location will do, but as this is the standard location where MP's WebEPG generates it's file, I stuck to it).

Exactly how to do it without TVserver, I cannot say. But the same location should be a start.

Are you using TVserver or built-in TV engine ?

For TVserver that should be enough. For TV engine I am not sure anymore.

Oh, for TV server I forgot the part about mapping the channels...

When I click on Import, it says 85 channels imported but when i click on Load/Refresh (under Mappings tab), it give - "No tv-channels available to map", any idea ??

P/S : my tvguide.xml is generated by TVxb (not WebEPG)...
