All HTML code for HTTP Live Streaming can be found in C:\Program Files (x86)\MPExtended\WebMediaPortal\www\Views\Stream\, named HLSPlayer.cshtml, HLSPlayer.css and HLSPlayer.js. The video tag is written using javascript in HLSPlayer.js.

Actually, thanks to @ollienator, if you replace the HLSPlayer.js file with this one, streaming to an iPad should work. It'd be nice if someone could confirm that streaming to iPhones and iPods also still works with that file.

Just tested it, works perfect on iPad 1 (iOS 5.1) and Iphone 4S (iOS 6.0.1). You really are fast. Thanks!

Wouldn't live http streaming work for other browser / plattforms? IE 10 can play it I think.

iPad 2 iOS 5.01
IPhone 4 iOS 4.32
Unfortunately don't have an iPod...
Still don't understand why you have to tell the iPad that controls are controls and why autostart doesn't autostart the player, but hey - we're talking about Apple devices here. Beautiful things are sometimes a bit stupid

I can't find any reference to IE10 support HTTP Live Streaming, so probably not.

Yeah, that's exactly the reason I didn't get it working yet - I expected it to be some kind of problem with the stream itself (wrong code or metadata or something), instead of such a stupid issue.
