Ziggo added already some new streams and moved some channels to these new streams (Goed TV,...). Also some other channels are moved (RTL4 HD, SBS6 HD) in preperation of the changes to be done on September 1.

    Allright, thanks..

Acually, I'm using fortherecord as tv-server, so hope I can get also a new transponder list for the changes of 1 september for that program..

The new files should be unzipped to the following folder: (Win7. For WinXp I don't know the exact location)

    \ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbc\

(Re)start TV-server configuration and scan for new channels :)

I think 1.38 is easier, it's a minor addition, judging by the lack of bugs, 1.39 is still a long way off. Ideally, the TuningParameters settings would be moved to MPE1, along with all the skins. Then any minor fixes could be updated quickly.

If it's an apartment block, it's quite likely that the LNB is something exotic that handles Sky and others. Try a different LNB frequency (and possibly the low and high frequency settings. I know little of such things, but apparently Sky is often 10750. Give it a try. Freeview is horizontally polarised.

Thank you for pointing out that my analysis may be less than accurate. :p Although the change to TV channel 71 may not also have been applied to the independent radio channels (different MUXes), the logs that I prepared for one of the development team does show a difference between channel 704 ("BBC Radio 4") and channel 731...

It's getting weirder..... If I remove all the IP cards in the TVServer setup and then add them back I can scan the M3u and tune the stations but if I rescan it on the same card it just keeps updating the 1 channel. My brain is melting.........

In the UK, the EPG transmitted in the DVB-T datastream allows each programme to have two genres -- a primary genre, and a secondary genre (i.e. a subgenre). The primary genre might be something like Film (or Movie in the USA). The secondary genre for Film might be something like: Action, Comedy, Crime, Fantasy, Romance, Science...
