Tony, this is not a skin problem so this thread is not the best place for this discussion.
Briefly: the 1.13 log files show bizarre results. MediaInfo seems to be unable to detect the proper details (resolution, duration, video and/or audio presence, video and/or audio format etc.) for many of the recordings, including the one that you tried to play. When you played the video, MediaPortal used the overlay renderer (not a good sign).
What happens if you try to play "The Good Wife_More 4_2015_05_21_20_55_00.wtv"?
What happens if you try to copy the file to the local PC instead of playing it over the network?
What causes you to ask about VMR9?
P.S. The 1.12 log files would be helpful if they were debug-level. As it stands, they're info level. Therefore I can't do a proper comparison with them.
