does it work with 2.0 or do i have to use a previous version of mp? I have confirmed that my yac works fine while at the desktop. but nothing while watching tv.

MP1 MP2 1.37 Seeking within a program after changing channels does not work while watching live TV DE

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! When I first start watching a TV program the timeshift functions works perfectly. I can shift back and forth in time and it works...

MP1 MP2 Resume for External Players DE

I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)

MP1 MP2 mc2xml seems to work but no EPG is imported in MP2 DE

Update: Problem solved! The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal. The issue stemmed from the corruption of one or both of the mc2xml.dat and/or mc2xml.exe files, for an unknown reason.
