vista 64bit error on installation (4 Viewers)

Yes Ive got servicepack 1, this was a while back did you guys install a newer version? I had the technician at the store install it and he said it didnt work so I tried and the same, like I said a while back, if its working for you guys I`ll try it again..

I have fusion HDTV dual express video card and it works well, stores in HD .TS and I use the divx encoder to make it a smaller file size..

Have you tried running the installation as Administrator? (I think it is on the right-click context menu). It may also help if you post some system information, MP version etc. It will help people understand, as the topic you posted is very generic! MP is compatible with Vista 64bit. Are you using the latest release RC2?

EDIT: I read elsewhere that you may need to disable UAC (Just type MSConfig in the start menu search and go to the Tools tab)

The msg that a programm is not a valid 32bit application sometimes comes by file "corruption". E.G. faulty downloads, RAM issues etc. Might be worth to check.

it is no need 2 disable UAC (works fine with UAC)
