WebMP Skin: BlueShift v4 (1 Viewer)

You need to go to the settings in webmp and set BlueShift as skin.

The contents of the zip are just how they need to be. Just put the BlueShift folder from the zip in the Skin folder (c:\Program Files (x86)\MPExtended\WebMediaPortal\www\Skins\)

The skin isn't showing on my PC, tablet or phone as it is in the YouTube attached to post 1. I've rebooted a few times. And it looks like my attached pics on my PC using localhost, from my laptop, tablet and phone using internal ip address, and from my tablet and phone over network.

Looks like the stylesheet isn't loaded. It is in c:\Program Files (x86)\MPExtended\WebMediaPortal\www\Skins\BlueShift\Content\style.css

Did you do a hard refresh in the browser?

When you unzip the file, it will have a BlueShiftV3 folder and then another folder BlueShift. You you have just one level folder only.
So It looks like this
...Skins\BlueShiftV3\BlueShift\(..all the blue shift skins files).
It should be ...Skins\BlueShift\(..all the blue shift skins files)

Right click on My Computer/computer. Choose Manage. Choose Services and Applications. Choose Services. Look for and choose MPExtended WebMediaPortal. Choose restart service OR stop and Start.
The skin should appear under settings in WebMP now.

Hey!

Could you apply this fix to blueshift as well? It fixes some problems with the TV Guide when there are gaps in the programming. It'll be fixed in the default skin in 0.5.2, but it'll work with 0.5.1 too

Thanks guys. I haven't had a chance to try all that out yet. Might in the next day or so. Will let you know how I go.

mpsam, where it said unzip and put the contents in the skin folder, I wasn't sure at which level. So I ended up putting the blueskinv3 folder, then the blueskin folder, then also the contents of the blueskin folder all in there. You could say, I was hedging my bets Will clean it all up later.

I have three problems with the Movie details when using MyVideos:

The director and author are not shown. In the database these values are there.
There is a wrong german translation: "Gast-Rollen" should be "Darsteller"
The rating is wrong calculated. I have for example a rating 5,8/10 within MePo. WebMP/blueShift shoes 58,0.
@Oxan: perhaps the rating has to be corrected within WebMP.

That might actually be an MPExtended / WebMP problem. I'll take a look.

@Dragy: Well, the translation isn't wrong, but BlueShift uses the wrong source text for actors in the movies section (UIStrings.GuestStarring translates to "Guest starring" and was meant for TV shows, you probably want something like "Actors", of which there is no translated version yet).

Well, does it show up correctly in the default skin? If so, it's a BlueShift problem, otherwise a WebMP problem.

Okay. I forgot to skin the MyVideos part entirely I think. Will look at it.
edit: Oh, there is no MyVideos part. I think it's a webmp issue.
