That's how you start a stream. Some streams can be offline or not available. Because there are >50k streams, nobody can track this.
Try a popular stream that must be available. I just tried some streams and they are working for me.

I tried BBC Radios 1,2,3,4, and about 10 other stations picked at random. How do I know which is a "popular stream that must be available"?

Oh, by the way, the new WMC skin folder did not persuade WMC to put WebRadio in the audio section - it is still in Extras. Not that that's a big problem, but I thought you ought to know.

I can not answer this. I'm not listening to radio streams. I can not find BBC 1,2,3,4, but I found BBC 5, BBC World news and clicked on several others, they all worked immediately.

I have WebRadio in the audio section. The extras is the default location for all plugins. You need to use the home editor to change the location. Please follow the instrctions in WIKI.

I cannot find those exact channels. I have "BBC Radio 5 live" and "BBC World Service News". Neither produce any sound. Nor does any other station I have tried. I suspect the problem is more fundamental!

Is there any way I could debug this?

Have done that - I assumed you could set some configuration somewhere that does it automatically (as it does in the default BlueVision skin).

Yes, seems you have another fundamental problem, because these are the streams, that worked here.

Take a look into the client log files. There should be visible, why the streams are not playing. If you are not sure where to look or how to read the log files, you may also attach them here.

Sorry, I’m just the designer and have no idea in this case. The developer of WebRadio was not online for a while.
Can you once deactivate the firewall and retry? I’ve no better idea, here it works well.

Good that it works for you. Can you confirm that you have media portal 2? And which version it is?
Of course I have MP2, I never used MP1 and the plugin wont be compatible with it.
I’m using the latest plugin version you can find in download section (I build it and added it there a few days before). MP2 I build and start with VS, it’s the lastest internal build, but it won’t make difference here.

Sorry, had to get the stupid questions out of the way first!
Here is another one - what is this "download section" of which you speak? I am running the second of the two beta versions in the first post of the mpextended thread.

Thanks guys. Ok, spent the (whole) weekend on this lol. First; TVHeadend/Kodi.... Nah. Given up on that - 'non-tech'; its horrible. 'Tech' - a few reasons but mostly that it is buggy. It is actually a real shame as it does have potential and promises a lot (was great to have Kodi on my phone and be able to watch live/recordings...
