Alright, dman, mr_minning, and forbes, you guys talked me into it. The iMON is pretty cool. Got mine from pricegrabber for $29.

I was going to ask you guys to post or send me your .imo file so I can import it, but I don't see where you can export it. Am I missing something?

If so, would one of you be so kind as to send me your file so I don't have to recustomize this bad boy?

I noticed the new version comes with myHTPC support, but not MediaPortal. Hrm, might have to talk to someone about that.

I use (or try to use *gg*) my silver hauppauge remote, that comes with my nexus-s card. The problem is, that it didn't works with the ir.exe that comes with the other wintv cards. It seems, that the nexus-s has a new or another interface to communicate with the remote.

does anybody have the same problem with his nexus card?

I use a X10 remote that came with my medion pc (yes, from the Aldi). It work pretty wel on the USB and with Girder.

Mine cost a bit more (~ $429), but I got an awesome Accent HTPC-case with it I too couldn't find an export function. I'll have a look if I just can take an ini-file and mail it to you.

One more question, which is the best remote to use with media portal, IMON, Firefly, ATI or any other, Not looking for really exprencive one.

I'm biased - IMON as it's very easy to setup and use in MediaPortal (and other Windows apps) and you can turn-on / shutdown your HTPC without getting off the couch.

I went for the White - MM model as the keys better matched the functions of MP however the new remote looks kewl... droool...

Anyway I just noticed and earlier post asking for the IMO file I use for MP...
