Hi

Ok renamed file to the same as TVdb.com, imported it into TV-Series



Playing via the TV-Series screen



The only thing is i'm using Vista with EVR as renderer (default) and the MP-TVSeries supplied with the StreamedMP skin (remove old TVSeries.dll before installing new).

I know i have seen comments about TV-Series will not play certain files, but there has never been a definitive answer that i have seen.

Ray - I really appreciate you taking the time to do that. The thing that I have not done is to rename my files to the same as TVdb's. I'll try that. I just looked at TVdb.com, where is the TVdb.com filename? Is it the URL?

Can I ask what you have listed as video codec under Videos config?

Just type "life" into the search bar, the file you gave me was in series 2.

According to graphedit, your files going through the mpeg multiplexor, splitting to M$ video codec and FFDShow audio whilst playing, so there's nothing abnormal about that, it may be HD, but its still a mpeg2 file.

Now you got me wondering if there's something that screws things up installing PowerDVD, because since i have not installed that, Windows Movie Maker works, which it has never done previously.

Ray - thank you so much. Looks like in my situation, there are issues with manually imported titles. When I renamed the file to ensure it passed one of the simple expressions, it plays.

Now onto my last issue - the remote ! I can navigate the menus with my MCE and Harmony remotes but once something is playing, the player controls don't work. I have no way of stopping the video and getting back into the MP menus without the keyboard.

Ooops. Nevermind, everything is working now.
