XBMC and MediaPortal on same box (1 Viewer)

If you run XBMC and Mediaportal on the same box, will it cause any instability in either XBMC or MP? I'd like testing both for a while before deciding what I'm going to use.

Both should be working nicely. Especially when XBMC is not using diretshow for video playback and MP is the confict possibility is quite minimal.

Use different images and all will be 100% ok.

Thanks guys. Ok, spent the (whole) weekend on this lol. First; TVHeadend/Kodi.... Nah. Given up on that - 'non-tech'; its horrible. 'Tech' - a few reasons but mostly that it is buggy.
