Just from a technical point of view you will have one problem,
TV is played using DirectShow
Music is played using BASS engine (by default)
So you won't be able to have one equalizer implementation that works for both.

maybe it's a good thing for some people out there those only have one sat-cable but want to record on different frequencies/transponders. (some SAT-Receivers have this option (Topfield TF5000PVR))
