After the new loading screens for MediaPortal arrived, it takes ages to load the configuration dialogue over an RDP connection. There should be a checkbox or an option to disable the animated loading window.
This is not crucial, just an annoyance :)

IMHO the label "Play Disc" does not fit to all other labels.
To be consistent to all other labels it should be renamed to a simple noun, something like only "Disc".
Or all other buttons are needed to be renamed to e.g. "Watch TV", "Listen Music", etc... ;)

I take the point that Mediaportal is an HTPC app but I wonder how many people also run it windowed. I use twin displays and run Mediaportal windowed, or full screen, on one monitor.
