It actually works well in this case. I have the DTV grabber set for English and use XMLTV.
Nearly always, the EPG comes from XMLTV, but in the rare cases where the grabber fails and I'm away, then the tv server switches to the now and next so at least the TV...

Currently there is no way to retrieve informations about a movie from the locally saved movie database without establishing an internet connection. the "Preview" function under "TV Channels" is very slow to engage. Takes about 4sec for it to pop up with the preview.
TVCard: Haupauge PVR 500 mce.
Would be nice if this was faster =) would make channel sorting / renaming very mutch easyer.

I agree with this request, it would be great, for example, to be able to schedule a recording using only the display without the TV. I have an iMON Ultrabay and if I try to follow it to schedule a new recording, I can go on until a certain point after which the TV is needed to know what the dialog is asking.
