I think an exellent feature to ad to MediaPortal would be the ablity to read edit dscision lists created by comskip, similar to the way MPlayer does. This would mean that to watch recorded TV sans ads would not require creating a new file (hence taking up less hard drive space) and saves a lot of time also.

Exactly. You can use your MediaPortal.xml after an update. But please note: This *can* break stuff, depends on what has changed and how old your settings file is. So in case you experience something weird, you have to check with a clean install if the problem also occurs there before you post to the forums/irc. Keep this in mind. :wink:

Well, due to the way that MediaPortal handles Pin-coded folders, you cannot see the files unless you input a correct PIN anyways now that I have that set up. so it seems work for what I needed it to. Now my only problem is going to my pictures, mediaPortal decides to crash.
