I would love to see a volume OSD all throughout media portal. I noticed that right now you only get the volume OSD when viewing a video or live tv. I would love to see the volume OSD at all times, like when listening to music through mymusic.

Agreed, nothing like being totally consistant throughout the various core functions.
And you don't get more basic than the sound operation on a htpc

I also agree. I also have a question though. I have no volume OSD for TV or viewing videos either? Any ideas?

    I olso agree.
I'd like to see the time also. But only when you can show/hide it with the remote. Like TV-time thrue teletext.

Its okay worked it out. R/C was mapped to system volume instead of to - and =.

Is this something that has changed? I upgraded from RC4+SVN 28/6 and was a bit suprised that I had to config this. Not very user friendly.

I have looked at your log files, but as usual they are unintelligible gobbledegook. (I am sure that the original developers who wrote that code know what the log entries mean, but those developers have long since retired from the MP team.) I regret to say that I think that you will have to use the "brute force" method to track down...

I have not experienced that myself, and I don't know of any reason why that might occur (but my knowledge of how TV Server works is not extensive). It is strange that you mention this because there are now four DVB-T channels in the UK that behave in the same way (this is new for the UK). I think that these might be some sort of...

Hi, First off: there are some issues with the latest Mediaportal (32bits vs 64bits), so that is one of the issues you're stumbling with. If you take the previous version (1.31) it should work as expected. For IPTV there is also a different option (with different pros and cons): Onlinevideos. I'm using that sometimes for my IPTV as...
