I've tried installing RC1 with no success due to a combination of factors... I haven't really got time to sort it all out.
I'd like to go back to MP 0.2.3.0 or whatever the last stable release of that was. That worked great.

You need timeshifting to be on for pause/rewind/ff to work for TV.
Like Marcus says, if you're using Tvserver - then it is always "timeshifting". In the single seat setup, you need to turn it on, or use the option that automatically turns it on when you enter My Tv.
