It plays nice with standalone vlc player, even outside finland.

Great plugin, I'm just using it soley for YouTube at the moment, the only feature not working for me is favorites, i have entered my username and password in the configuration, when i add a favourite it never shows up in the favorites directory.

I can't say I ever found a solution for that particular problem. My guess is that is somehow codec related. The solution that seems to work best for me right now is VistaCodecs found here: Shark007's FREE Codec solutions.

FLVs played via http can't be skipped with the FLVSplitter. WMV and MP4 can be skipped as it seems (also depending on the server). So it's nothing that the plugin itself can change. If the source and method of playback support skipping, then it will work in MediaPortal.
