MadVR is unstable for me. FSE comes and goes. HDR passthrough doesn't always work. I've tried all release and beta versions. :(
MPC-VR is great and I'd love an option to be able to natively use it.
In the mean time, is there a way to use it with MP1 using an external player?
I think the official IMDB+ plugin (2.1.0.539), contains this updated, fixed script: IMDbPlus/Scraper/IMDb+.Scraper.SVN.xml at master · Mediaportal-Plugin-Team/IMDbPlus
VP9 is a Video Coding Format. A VP9 file may or may not be in HDR format.
A lot of modern H.265 videos are HDR (some are not!).
Go here: https://kodi.wiki/view/Samples
Download: HDR 10-bit HEVC 24fps (in MP4, 'Exodus' sample)
It's a HEVC MPEG-4 video that is HDR10.
Mediainfo will report this as...
Nice, the run times look good. Thanks!
I see MP has a boolean DB field for "Is HDR". So it must not be storing the actual HDR type. You could choose to display a HDR icon if TRUE.
Hmmm interesting. MovingPictures is missing languages for some of my movies. Most of them are ok, so it's not your XML :)
The language shows when using the PC's mediainfo.exe, so it might be the version bundled with MovingPictures that is bugged.
Nice, they both look good.
Moving Pictures:
When clicking into a movie, language is just showing a | (and not any language).
I don't see icons for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG.
TVSeries
Able to add a runtime when clicking into the details of an episode (where is shows First Aired...
Wow, that's perfect. I didn't expect such prompt service!
I like seeing both the stars and the rating, that's the best of both worlds.
Can you do the same thing for Moving Pictures?
How can I change the MP-TVSeries views (for both Season and Episode views) to show the actual rating instead of the stars?
Showing 6 stars is nice, but I'd like to know precisely what it is rated (eg 6.2).
Thank you for the skin BTW!
